SUPERVISION

All Counsellors and Psychotherapists attend supervision. It is an essential part of their own personal development, health and well being, allowing them the opportunity to review and reflect on their client work with another professional.

My supervisor provides me with guidance and support, where I can reflect on my work without breaking client confidentiality.  I personally feel that my clients receive a better quality service due to the work I complete with my supervisor.  I always aim to provide a high standard of professional practice to my clients.

“All counsellors, psychotherapists, trainers and supervisors are required to have regular and on-going formal supervision/consultative support for their work in accordance with professional requirements.” (BACP Ethical Framework 2010 p 6, para 7).
